You would expect a bunch of mean ass right-wingers to come up with abortion. I mean, liberals are supposed to be the nice, sensitive ones. Always worried about killing innocent people on death row, right?
Ask yourself what our abortion debate would be like if right-wingers had come up with the idea of killing babies in the womb. Liberals would be aghast. "Oh my God, you're killing infants. You're killing the weakest, the most vulnerable among us. You're killing retarded children." We'd never hear the end of it. I mean, waterboard one terrorist, liberals flip out. Scald some Vietnamese orphan with napalm, they go on and on about it.
But since liberals came up with killing babies in the womb, it doesn't bother them. They don't see it. "What killing? What are you talking about? There's no killing. It's a medical procedure."
It's like Castro killing people in Cuba. "Huh? What are you talking about? Nobody's dying in Cuba. What's wrong with Cuba? Cuba's nice."
